Our approach to copyright

CashCrafty respects the intellectual property rights of others and expects the writers and contributors who publish here to do the same. We comply with the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA), 17 U.S.C. § 512, and with applicable Indian law, including the Copyright Act, 1957 and the Information Technology Act, 2000. This page explains how to report copyright infringement on cashcrafty.com and how we respond.

Everything published on CashCrafty is written by us or used with permission or under licence. Images are created by us or properly licensed, and figures we quote from official sources — government departments, regulators, and statistical releases — are credited to those sources. If you believe that material on this site infringes your copyright, we want to hear from you and will act on valid notices.

How to file a copyright takedown notice

Email our designated copyright contact at support@cashcrafty.com with the subject line "DMCA Notice". To be effective under the DMCA, your notice must include all of the following:

Notices missing these elements may not be actionable. If you are unsure whether material infringes your rights, consider taking legal advice before filing — a notice is a legal document, not a complaint form.

What happens next

We review every notice we receive and aim to acknowledge it within 2 working days. Where a notice is valid, we will remove or disable access to the infringing material expeditiously. Where the material was contributed by a third party, we will notify that contributor where we reasonably can.

Counter-notification

If your material was removed because of a takedown notice and you believe the removal was a mistake or the result of misidentification, you may send a counter-notification to support@cashcrafty.com with the subject line "DMCA Counter-Notice", including:

If we receive a valid counter-notification, we may restore the material 10–14 business days after forwarding the counter-notice to the original complainant, unless that complainant notifies us that they have filed a court action seeking to restrain the material.

Repeat infringers

Contributors and accounts that repeatedly infringe copyright will be removed, and their content taken down. We maintain records of notices and counter-notices to apply this policy consistently.

Misrepresentation

Knowingly making a false claim in a takedown notice or counter-notification can lead to liability for damages under Section 512(f) of the DMCA. Please file only claims you genuinely believe in.

Changes to this policy and contact

If our copyright procedures change, we will update this page and the "Last updated" date above. This page covers copyright only — for anything else, write to support@cashcrafty.com or use our contact form.
