Write for Us

CashCrafty is always looking for contributors who can explain money clearly. If you've learned something about saving, investing, tax or insurance in India — through your profession or your own experience — and you can teach it in plain English, we'd like to hear from you.
Who we're looking for
- Practitioners: chartered accountants, financial planners, bankers, insurance advisers — people who've seen how these products work in real life.
- Clear writers: you don't need credentials if you have genuine experience and can explain it simply. Some of the best money writing comes from people who learned the hard way.
- India-first perspective: our readers deal with PPF, EPF, 80C, UPI and Indian tax slabs. Your piece should live in that world, not a generic one.
Topics we cover
Saving and budgeting, mutual funds and SIPs, small-savings schemes (PPF, SSY, NSC), tax planning, insurance, credit and loans, banking, and beginner investing. Before pitching, browse our existing guides — we don't republish angles we've already covered well.
Our standards (non-negotiable)
- Original work only. No plagiarism, no spun content, no lightly-rewritten versions of other sites' articles. We check.
- Facts from official sources. Rates, slabs, limits and rules must come from RBI, SEBI, IRDAI, incometax.gov.in, AMFI, EPFO or equivalent primary sources — linked in the draft. See our Editorial Policy.
- Real numbers. Worked ₹ examples with actual calculations beat vague advice every time. Show your math.
- Plain English. Define every piece of jargon or cut it. Our readers are smart but busy.
- No hidden promotion. Don't pitch a piece that's really an ad for your product, course or service. Undisclosed promotion is an instant rejection.
- Honest about limits. Include the downsides and the "it depends" — one-sided pieces don't survive our review.
How to pitch
Email support@cashcrafty.com with the subject line "Guest post pitch: [your topic]" and include:
- A 3–4 line outline of the article and its angle — what will the reader be able to do after reading it?
- One paragraph on why you're the right person to write it.
- A link to something you've written before (a blog, LinkedIn post, or even a detailed forum answer counts).
We reply to every pitch within two weeks. If we accept, we'll agree on scope and deadline together, and your piece goes through the same fact-checking and editing process as everything on CashCrafty. You'll be credited with a byline and author bio.

What we don't publish
- Get-rich-quick schemes, "guaranteed return" claims, or unregulated investment products.
- Specific stock tips or buy/sell recommendations.
- Content written primarily for SEO rather than for readers.
- Anything that requires us to present opinion as regulated advice.
Compensation
CashCrafty is a small independent publication that currently earns no revenue (see how we're funded). Contributor arrangements — credit, bio links, and any payment — are discussed honestly per piece before you start writing. We won't ask you to write for "exposure" without saying so upfront.
