Ethics & Transparency
Last updated: October 2026
Money advice is only useful if you can trust the motives behind it. This page states, in plain language, how CashCrafty stays independent and how money flows around this site. If anything here ever stops being true, this page will be the first thing we update.
Our independence commitment
- No paid rankings. When we compare products — funds, accounts, cards, insurance — the order and the verdicts come from published features, charges and our own analysis. Nobody can pay to be ranked higher, included, or excluded.
- No pay-to-publish. We don't accept money for writing about a product, and we don't sell "sponsored guides" disguised as editorial content.
- Editorial firewall. Any future commercial relationships (see below) will never influence what we recommend, criticise, or choose to cover. If we criticise a product from a company we have any commercial relationship with, we publish the criticism anyway.
Advertising policy
Current status: CashCrafty runs no advertisements and is not accepting direct advertisers. The site is new, and our full attention is on publishing genuinely useful guides.
If we introduce advertising in the future — for example, through Google AdSense Auto Ads — these principles will apply:
- Ads will be clearly distinguishable from editorial content. You'll never have to guess whether something is an ad.
- Advertisers get no say in our articles, comparisons, or opinions — before or after they buy space.
- We won't run ads for products we believe are harmful or misleading, including get-rich-quick schemes and unregulated investment products.
Affiliate links
Current status: CashCrafty contains no affiliate links. We earn zero commission from anything we mention.
If we ever add affiliate links in the future, each one will be clearly disclosed next to the link, and affiliate relationships will never affect our recommendations — a product we don't rate won't get our link regardless of commission.
Sponsored content
Current status: we publish no sponsored content and have no plans to start. If that ever changes, sponsored articles will carry an unmissable "Sponsored" label at the top, will be written to the same factual standards as everything else, and the sponsor will not get to approve or edit our conclusions.
How does CashCrafty make money?
Honestly? Right now, it doesn't — the site is funded by its founder as an independent project. In the future, we expect modest revenue from clearly-labelled advertising (see above). We have no investors, no parent company, and no revenue targets that could pressure our editorial choices.
Reader-first, always
If you ever spot something on CashCrafty that looks like a hidden promotion, a biased comparison, or an undisclosed relationship — tell us at support@cashcrafty.com. We'd rather hear it from you than have you wonder.
